The paper machine is a complete set of pulp forming equipment which integrates headbox, net part, press part, drying cadre, calender, paper reel machine, main engine of transmission part and auxiliary system of steam, water, vacuum, lubrication and heat recovery. Headbox is a kind of equipment that conveys proper concentration of slurry evenly and steadily to the net through slurry distributor, rectifier, weir pool, weir plate nozzle and other parts, also known as net front box. After the pulp is sprayed from the headbox to the copper net, wet paper is formed on the net and dehydrated. Then, it is squeezed, that is, the moisture content of wet paper can be extruded from the network by mechanical method to improve the dryness of the paper, while improving the surface performance of the paper, eliminating the mesh marks, improving the smoothness, tightness and strength of the paper; then it enters the drying cadre, further dehydration and pressing to shrink the paper and improve the tightness between the fibers. Paper calendered by calender when it came out from drying cadres can improve the smoothness, gloss and tightness of paper, make the whole thickness of paper consistent, and reduce the air permeability. Finally, the paper is rolled into paper rolls by drum to complete the main process of paper making.
